Wednesday, 20th May 2009 - Visioning Event
This initial event was held at the Knowledge Exchange (University of Hull) to share the Visions of the University, Department of Engineering and the CPD-Eng Project. The event was well attended with representatives from local businesses and industry, stakeholders and institutional staff. (collection of slides used in the presentation)

Thursday, 11th June 2009 - Telling Stories
Nick Hooper successfully submitted an abstract for the 'Telling e-Portfolio stories: 'e-Portfolio-Based Learning' Conference at the University of Wolverhampton.This presentation set out the current processes and systems by which engineers obtain and record their qualifications through the University of Hull and the Engineering Council  before describing the CPD-Eng project to provide a personalised on-line system to initial and continuing lifetime professional development.

Tuesday, 23rd June 2009 - EiFEL, Learning Forum - London
David Sowden had the opportunity to present the concept of the CPD-Eng project to a group of colleagues from around the world. The team have used both PowerPoint and Keynote software, however at this event the presentation was created using Prezi. Feedback was very good with links being made with colleagues in Australia who are developing systems that log competences during a similar process with the Australian version of the Engineering Council UK.
