Building Vision

We are currently seeking funding to construct a purpose built facility on the site of the current Brocklehurst building on Anlaby Road Hull.    The new centre of excellence will house many facilities that will enable it to compete on a world stage in the arena of clinical nutrition, providing a functional food centre, education facilities, conference facilities, sports and clinical trial facilities and on site laboratory services.

A dynamic and purpose built accommodation, coupled with good facilities, equipment, dynamic experienced leadership and an enthusiastic staff would ensure cutting edge and innovative treatments are developed for and delivered to, the patients that need them the most.  The combination of the facilities would allow for new functional foods to be developed, tested and granted EFSA accreditation, the IPR of which will generate income and enhance credibility for the centre, mutually raising the profile of both the region and the researchers. 

These facilities are required to expand current capacity and enable HONEI to realise its full potential.  This will address capacity issues for the medium to long term period (5 – 10 years); allowing for future growth, a greater positive impact and confident sustainability
