Education and Training
A fundamental aim of the project is to deliver
education and training to health professionals, private sector care
workers, healthy lifestyle coordinators, parents, social workers,
industry, schools staff and pupils as well as individuals wishing
to pursue a career or interest in nutrition related
disciplines.
Courses will be delivered predominantly
through both the FHSC for health professionals and the FHEd
Research Group for schools and children focussed education.
Bespoke packages will be delivered as necessary to industry to
raise their awareness on nutrition, functional foods, research and
development or EFSA accreditation.
Professional development from foundation degrees through to BSc,
MSc and PhD will be delivered by all partners in the project
ensuring maximum benefit is gained for the students from the broad
base of knowledge and experience from the HONEI collaboration
partners.
