Annual Conference 2008
1-3 September 2008 at The University of
Hull
The HUCBMS Conference this year will be from the 1st - 3rd
September at the University of Hull, and we would like to take this
opportunity to invite you and your colleagues to attend. The
full Conference Fee will be £290 including en-suite accommodation,
with lower rates available if accommodation is not required or for
individual sessions. The programme is available in the
conference programme dropdown menu.
On Tuesday (2nd September) afternoon we will be having a "Hot
Topic Session" to discuss current issues related to the delivery
of Biomedical Science programmes. If you have any
particular topics you would like to discuss then please contact
Karen Nicholson (hucbms2008@hull.ac.uk) as soon
as possible.
Accommodation has been arranged at a central hotel, the Ibis,
which is only 300 metres from the newly refurbished railway
interchange. We are arranging transport from the railway
interchange to the University on Monday afternoon. In
addition coaches will ferry delegates between the hotel and the
University during the conference. Secure parking spaces
have been arranged at the University as parking is limited in the
centre of Hull. The conference dinner will be held at The
Deep, which is one of the most spectacular aquariums in the world,
where you will dine amongst the fishes and be entertained by
Northumbria's greatest musical export - The Dinosaurs.
The registration deadline is 30th June 2008.

Registration
A registraton area will be located in the foyer of Esk Building,
West Campus. Once you have registered your attendance you
will receive a delegate pack.

08:00 - 09:15 Tuesday 2nd September 2008
