Volunteers
Volunteers can make an important contribution
to the work of the History Centre. Opportunities range from helping
to preserve the collections to supporting the education work.

Volunteering can help you to develop your
skills and provide work experience as a route into employment,
further studies or to enhance personal development. Some of our
previous volunteers have gone on to further education or into paid
employment, as our Case Studies page demonstrates.
Volunteering can be a way to make new friends
and use your existing skills productively. Retired professionals
are welcome as volunteers.
Volunteering at the Hull History Centre is an
opportunity to participate behind the scenes in one of the
country’s most exciting heritage and research resource centres.
Details of current opportunities we have identified are
available but please do contact us if you wish to get involved.
