North East Coast Town Revealed: Hull’s Second World War
Records
This cataloguing project will highlight the devastation
wreaked on Hull during the Second World War and demonstrate the
resilience of its citizens on the home front. An archivist and a
team of volunteers will spend a year working on the records, held
at Hull City Archives in the Hull History Centre, and will use this
website and the project's blog to
highlight the range of records discovered and provide regular
progress updates.

A more detailed outline of the project is available.
News of the award in December attracted newspaper
