North East Coast Town Revealed: Hull’s Second World War Records

This cataloguing project will highlight the devastation wreaked on Hull during the Second World War and demonstrate the resilience of its citizens on the home front. An archivist and a team of volunteers will spend a year working on the records, held at Hull City Archives in the Hull History Centre, and will use this website and the project's blog to highlight the range of records discovered and provide regular progress updates.
