ICT facilities 

The History Centre has a suite of 12 PCs with free internet access, Word processing and Excel applications. To make sure there is a chance for everyone to use them, access is limited to a maximum of one hour per day per person. To use one of these PCs you will need a Hull Library ticket and staff can register you to use the library at the enquiry desk in the History Centre.

Printing

Printouts cost 10p per sheet for black and white, printing in colour is not available

Wifi
wireless logoWiFi (wireless free) internet access is available in the public areas including the arcade, library, lecture theatre and searchroom if you have a wi-fi enabled laptop and a Hull library membership card or a University of Hull ID. The City Council’s Acceptable Use Policy details the conditions governing the use of the Internet and other ICT equipment by members of the public.

Yorkshire Film Archive
The History Centre has two dedicated PCs for users to explore the Yorkshire Film Archive  a dynamic resource for you to enjoy, learn from and contribute to. You can watch hundreds of films reflecting Yorkshire life, landscape and culture from the 1890s to the present day, all selected from the Yorkshire Film Archive’s rich collection with the help of audiences across the region.
