There are various education / exhibition spaces in the building, all easily accessed from the arcade.

Lecture Theatre
The main space, labelled 'Lecture Theatre' on this plan, in fact has many possible uses. As a lecture theatre, fully equipped with data projector and screens, it will seat 120 people. The space can also be divided in two for seminars, workshops and other groups of up to 40 people, with power and network points for laptops. Alternatively the whole space can be used for special exhibitions and can be opened out onto the arcade for special occasions and events.

Two small rooms accessed via the Local Studies Library area can be used for groups of up to 6 people, or the space combined to create one room for up to 12 people. These will be available for booking by local community or special interest groups for meetings or projects.
