Writes and Wrongs Conference
The conference was held to complement the celebrations of the
75th anniversary of Liberty and was being held at the
University of Hull, the home of the archives of Liberty. An
exhibition of selected documents from the Liberty Archive was
also on display. |

History of the World in 100 Objects
Over 600 people came to the Hull History Centre to find out more
about the objects shortlisted from our region featured in this
major BBC campaign and take part in events throughout the day. |

Spec-tacular birthday!
A fun day for all the family which included art workshops, live
music and most importantly cake!

Time Troopers: Top of the POPerties Public
of all ages came to the History Centre to take part in the
pop-up postcard challenge and created their own 3D piece of
history. This tied in with the Heritage Open Days which
were celebrated at the Centre with guided tours of the building and
badge making!

Re-enACT
From mini-plays to creating masks, these free daily
sessions were a big hit and helped the young
people visiting the centre make their own mark on history
with Hull Community Theatre!

Stories for a November Night Authors
from the local area performed readings from their latest work and
fielded questions from the public. |
