View of the History Centre signAs Hull celebrates UK City of Culture we are keen to actively engage with as many people as possible.

This taster session will help us understand how we can communicate the message about our work and our collections to as wide an audience as possible.

If you’ve never been to the Hull History Centre before why not join us on a free taster session and find out what we hold, what we do and what you can discover here.  A partnership between the City and the University of Hull, it provides a one stop shop for anyone wishing to consult the rich and varied material from the Hull City Archives, the University of Hull Archives and the Hull Local Studies Library dating back to 1089AD and up to the present day.

On Saturday 18th February, the Hull History Centre is offering you the opportunity to come along to an introduction to our services which will include a tour of the building, all free of charge.

The session will run from 9.30am until 11.30am and will give you the chance to see some of the treasures we hold at the Centre and where they are stored.

Places are limited to 20 so book up now by ringing 01482 317500.
