Larkin’s Spec-tacular Birthday

A day for all the family!!

10.00am – 4.00pm
If Shelves Could Talk:
Come and share your library experiences with poet Amanda Lowe, who is creating new poetry exploring the relationship between people and books.

11.30am – 1.30pm
Doodlemania:
Art workshops for all ages. Larkin loved to doodle on his letters to friends and family. Join us in creating your own Larkin works of art on postcards, or design your own birthday card!

1.30 – 2.00pm
Cake!
Yum, yum, Larkin may not approve but we have lots of cake to share in honour of his birthday

2.00pm – 3.00pm
Words and Music:
The bands from All Night North, Man Made Noise, Horse Guards Parade, and the Cardboard Cutouts perform their musical interpretations of Larkin’s poems.
