Information skills does it work? - assessing the impact of information skills teaching

A day of presentations, workshops and opportunities to exchange experiences and good ideas for those interested in or involved with delivering information skills teaching. The programme draws upon the experience of practitioners in HE.

The day will look at the assessment of the impact of information skills teaching. The programme was devised in response to feedback from previous seminars and there will be theoretical as well as practical sessions.   The fifth in a series of Yorkshire Universities’ seminars, the day has again a simple aim for the information skills practitioners taking part: to help us to do it better!

This will be achieved by:

  • encouraging reflective practice
  • sharing ideas
  • providing a networking opportunity
