Information skills teaching: building in assessment: Building in Assessment

Friday 11th April 2003

Room 01.58, Learning Support Services,

J.B.Priestley Building, University of Bradford

A day of presentations, demonstrations and opportunities to exchange experiences and good ideas for those interested in or involved with delivering information skills teaching.  The programme draws upon the experience of practitioners in HE.

The day will look at assessment in information skills teaching, at different levels and in both online and more traditional teaching methods. There will be theoretical as well as practical sessions.  The third in a series of Yorkshire Universities’ seminars, the day has again a simple aim for the information skills practitioners taking part: to help us to do it better!

This will be achieved by:

  • Encouraging reflective practice
  • Sharing Ideas
  • Providing a networking opportunity
