Practitioner
Wednesday 6 March 2002 9.45 – 16.30
Learning Centre
Leeds Metropolitan University
City Campus
Woodhouse Lane
A day of workshops and seminar sessions for everyone involved
with information skills teaching, whatever their level of
experience. The varied programme is designed to suit
practitioners from any background, whether delivering traditional
teaching sessions or working with Virtual Learning
Environments.
The day will look at information skills teaching as part of
teaching in HE in general. There will be both theoretical and
practical sessions, with options to suit your interests and
experience. The day has a simple aim for the information
skills practitioners taking part: to help us to do it better!
This will be achieved by:
- encouraging reflective practice
- sharing ideas
- providing a networking opportunity
